Hello,
I have a lot of difficulties preventing students from downloading Mozilla Firefox onto the workstations. Once they have downloaded it they can use it as a proxy to get to Facebook and other locations that our school does not allow. The installation is specific for each profile on the system. They have found several different locations from which to download it. Does anyone have any ideas how to stop it.
Set the school router up to direct all outgoing web traffic through the
proxy server. That way no specific setup of IE, Safari, or Firefox is
needed.
Alternatively, teach the kids about social responsibility.
